*This set is modeled after the 9th edition of the Encyclopedia of Britannica which is a great size for a bookshelf. Each book measured 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide. I list my encyclopedia as measuring 13/16 of an inch by 1/2 of an inch each. Perfect size to fit in most 1:12 scale bookcases.
