1:12 Scale The Hours of Jeanne D'Evreux is a tiny miniature book of hours that opens and has a hard cover with 18 illuminated pages in the French Gothic style and measures approximately 5/8 inch high by 1/2 of an inch wide.
History says the original edition was created between 1324 and 1328 by Jean Pucelle for Jeanne D'Evreux, the third wife of Charles IV of France. I hope you enjoy my miniature version.
All my books that are 1/12 scale have miniature hard covers. Most of my miniature books are readable BOOKS. They are printed on both sides of the page with a readable passages drawn from the actual book being depicted. Perfect in room box, dollhouse coffee table or a book shelf in your miniature scene. I personally design and construct every book. One book can take 2 or more hours of graphic design and research of copyright. I believe my books are unique in that they are better scaled for miniature rooms and I use pages and illustrations from the original books wherever possible.
This is a collectors item and it is not recommended for small children.
